When we were on the move our Coleman Roadtrip got a lot of use but we also did a lot of charcoal where the parks had grills or fire rings at the site. Granted the Coleman is a bit of a pain to get in and out of a compartment and to clean. About every third or fourth trip we were taking it to a car wash which probably wasn't a good idea but was about the only way to really clean it good.
First thing I bought when we went stationary (till I retire that is) was go to Sams club and buy a monster 5 burner SST propane grill. Boy was that a mistake. The grill cooks fine but it is WAY TO BIG for just the two of us. Looking to get a Magna grill like they use on boats for our everyday use.
We also bought an electric smoker that has an app so you can monitor remotely. That thing is great!
When we get on the road again we will review this thread as the smoker and 5 burner will stay at home. I'm thinking a Magma propane grill and a small Blackstone griddle might be the ticket. Doesn't take much surface for just the two of us.
