Yes, and it’s the same one that you buy retail, saw it on the factory tour. This spurred me to buy one at the rally and I’m glad that I did.

i'm just trying to get a grip on the differences between the units and their corresponding costs.

so... just tryin' figure all this out. i'm picking up my 3121 on the 16th, so i could pre-purchase the tpms and install it when i pick it up and doing my pdi.

i did a search.. so hope i'm not lol

It's the same as me telling you a Lada can pull your trailer as well as your Superduty. You get what you pay for. I had Tireminder, got tired of countless problems and scrapped it for TST507. Most folks I know use the TST. When your life depends on knowing your tire health, why go cheap.

EEZRV

I've had three different TOMS systems.

The first was a re-branded TST system (I think) using the name 'Hawkshead'. It was prone to false alarms and lost signals. I sold it after we sold our Montana and bought a motor home.

The second was a SmartTire. What a piece of junk! Constant false alarms, lost signals in spite of having a signal booster and an external antenna. Then the batteries started going and I learned that the sensors had to be replaced at about $125 each!

I bought the EEZRV 10 sensor system based upon user reviews. It was easy to install and program, easy to change programming, and has never given me a false alarm or lost signal. The sensor batteries are cheap (CR1632) and last more than a year but I replace them yearly and carry spares 'just in case'. One sensor signaled a low battery but I discovered some corrosion on the contact. Cleaned it and started using silicon pool lube on the o-rings when changing batteries.

comparison info

To go all way in safety, replace rubber stems with metal, and the latest TST is very light weight claiming no need to balance. But do metal and Balance anyway.

TST 510 System with a repeater, 9 years and counting, works great and very satisfied. I have bought some new or reconditioned sensors over the years. If I was doing it again I would make sure the sensors were flow-through and had replaceable batteries.

If doing it again, I’d probably go with a TST. I bought a Bellacorp one. It works okay, but very cheaply made. The mount has broken twice and been replaced once. The replacement broke too just like the first one so I gave up. The sensors work okay and I’ve had no problem receiving the signal when towing our 3400RL with our long bed dually.

Not sure if your truck supports this but if it does I would go with that over 3rd party.

Unless you have aluminium rims. I installed a new high pressure rubber stem, the steel was eating away the rim.

Csrl n Susan. Did you take the screen protector off the screen? I had the same issue. Called the company and he asked me the same question. There is nothing in the directions about removing the screen protector. The customer service guy told me the three previous calls he had to mine were the same issue. There is a very small tab in the upper right hand corner that is easily missed. Peel it back and take off the screen protector. Mine is now plenty bright even in the sun. .

Get the flow through sensors! Make sure you have metal valve stems. Filling tires is a breeze.

If there was a screen protector when it shipped, it is n't there now. I just went and looked closely at the screen. There is nothing covering it.

That's good. Obviously you must have caught it. Glad I’m not the only one that missed it. They said next re print of their directions will remind people to remove the screen protector. Apparently they get tons of calls about it. Lol.

I bought a TST system at the rally in Sept. I'm a very happy camper.

Darren, it’s a feature on 2022 units. Built inside the wheel.
