So recently my CO2 detector continually goes off. I have all propane turned off for over 2 weeks. Have cleaned and blown out and still goes off. Batteries are brand new. Always connected to 50 amp power. Says to replace every 5 years. It that really necessary and why it keeps going off.
Thank you

There should be an explanation of the "beeps" on the back of the CO detector. If it is beeping every 30 seconds the usual meaning is "End of Life" (they have an internal clock) and it needs to be replaced.

What brand do you have and what is the frequency of the beeps?
