Water leak
Hi, I have a 2022 montanna high country 377FL. After buying the trailer(2 days later) I notice water leaking into the under belly. It was right after the wife took a shower. I dropped the under belly and could not see any leaks. I left it open for a week to dry out. We used the shower and the kitchen sink and there were no leaks. I pulled the front trim off the front of the shower stall at the bottom and notice a little water on tip of the grey tank I checked the drain pipe from the shower to where it goes into the tank and it was dry. Re checked the shower and kitchen sink with water and no leaks. I closed up the belly and with in 3 days the water was back leaking and on top of grey tank. I'm thinking maybe a crack in the PVC pipe just before 3ntering the tank. I have about 4 inches to see through under the shower so not easy to get to. My question is...how to you drop the tank if the shower drain pipe, kitchen pipe and laundry pipe is all connected.. . Like I mention before, you can't access the piping do to no room under neath the shower. Thanks Ian

I don't think you can drop the tank with plumbing connected. You might try getting an endoscope camera and taking a look, with and without water running in shower. I got this one on Amazon for about $30.00. Hooks up to my phone.

Is the tank drain valve open when using the shower?

Given the leak comes and goes despite people taking showers, have you considered it might be the black tank flush anti-siphon valve? How do the leaks fit with your black tank dumping schedule?

A 2022 why are you fixing it?

It would be helpful to try and isolate the leak prior to taking it in for repairs. If not they'll likely say they can't duplicate the problem and three weeks later you get the trailer back not fixed. Sometimes certain style tanks crack along seams and are not visible upon visual inspection. Under weight of water then the leak becomes obvious. The leak could be from several sources and locating it is critical.

I took a closer look and it looks like could be a small crack where the drain from the showers comes into the tank

Once my forward gray tank filled up. I was in the shower when it backed up. When I dumped the tanks I noticed water on the basement floor. The drain pipe coming from the shower was wet. I noticed the drip source was the elbow joint under the drain pan. I tightened up the fitting.
So far so good.

If this were mine, and I had seen a crack, I would take a picture and show to your dealer. Ask them to schedule you for repair and take it in that day. My dealer would let me pick it up as soon as it was done (that day or the next). If it’s hard to get a photo, as mentioned earlier, take a picture with an endoscope on your phone. Lots of uses for an endoscope and they have really come down in price.

Flex in shower pan based on weight
This has happened to me on 2 fifth wheels. It left me scratching my head. The problem is when weight is placed near the drain, it separates the pan from the drain and leaks. I was able to spray a hardening foam from underneath to keep it from happening then I put a heavy caulk bead around the drain. When my spouse took a shower - no leak. Me, at 195 -leak.

Shower leak
It has been my experience working with shower leaks that you may have to have someone stand in the shower with the water running in order to re-create the leak. As the person does this crawl under and look for the leak with water running and body weight in/on the shower pan.

Just two days? It should by still under warrantee and you should take it back to your dealer for the repairs at no charge to you. The concern is the work you are doing may violate and invalidate that warrantee for the whole trailer.

2 days from date of purchase..
Oh heck no, we would do a turn around back to the dealer.
Like other people mentioned...any changes may cause you trouble with the warranty.
So sorry this happened.

Understanding. There are manufacture warranty which when on the road may be able to work with you local available service shops. There are also service warranty you can get to cover most systems and other things which work with most other service centers like Good Sam's extended warrantee service. Some times in you purchase discussions you can negotiate inclusion in your purchase price. That is the good part. The bad part is it still may take weeks to get in just for the review and estimating or insurance claims processing. Exploration may find additional assistance.

Shower leak
While working another project I noticed water stains under the shower drain. I didn’t catch it while in use so I don’t know the extent of the leak but it was enough to leave a 4 foot ‘bathtub’ ring in the dust. I can’t see any way to access the pipe in my 3810MS model so my plan is to attach a bucket to a length of wood, slide it under the leak and screw it down. I figure it will evaporate between showers but if not I can drag it out using the wood attached and dump the bucket. It’s not elegant but I see no way to access it to do an elegant fix. I’m open to other ideas
