Nice truck Scott. When ordering, were there any issue with options not being available due to a "chip" shortage, which is affecting many GM vehicles?

Not when I ordered on 10/14/21. The only thing I did not order was Ford's adaptive steering (not to be confused with adaptive cruise; have that). I had it on my '19 and, so far, cannot tell any difference. If a person ordered in the last couple months that the '22 order banks were open (closed first part of April), yes, several options were no longer available. There was also a list of options that could be ordered, but would slow down production of the truck. We were able to get everything we wanted. I would have waited for the '23 order banks to open before I accepted a lesser truck.

It is very true, it makes positioning a 5th wheel so easy. People always tell me how great of a backer I am, I never mention it is the steering capability of the F450 that makes it so easy, I let them think what the want.

I waited 9 months on a 2015 F150 single cab and never did get it. I finally bought one off the lot.

Did it come with the 7K generator? I just read an article today saying you could run a 50 amp RV with it.

No. I don't recall that as being an option.

Congratulations on the new truck. If I may be so nosy - what tires did it come with -- about time for me to replace my fronts and I've got Continental HSR; I thought I saw where the new ones are coming with Continental HDR+ (which are all season)? Thanks in advance.

Just curious what date you ordered it. I ordered mine on Nov 22 through Costco, and *supposedly* will be paying invoice (fingers crossed). I received an update early February (nothing to update).

F-450 turning radius

compared to a F-250 or F-350, the F-450 has a 7.5’ tighter radius which equates to 15’ reduction in the turning diameter. I watched one maneuver into a parking spot 3 years ago…….very impressive!

Still Waiting

We ordered our 2022 F450 DRW on August 30 and have only received an order confirmation email. ☹️
