Remember an important rule when changing out the Anode........remember to release the pressure prior to unscrewing it......I forgot this important rule the last time I did it and I ended up with 12 gallons of water and white sediment all over me.....I think the water was about 50 degrees. Glad none of the neighbors witnessed this.

That would be fun to watch someone else do but it gives me an idea. Pull the anode then screw in a 12" straight pipe. Then apply city water to the trailer. It may be a good way to rinse out the heater tank. A lot easier way than how I cleaned mine last time.
