Nails In Bedroom Floor Causing Squeak

We have a 3791RD with a rear living room. Recently we got a bad squeak after a flex frame repair in the floor in front of the bed in the bedroom area. We thought it was water damage but after pulling up the vinyl we discovered that the floor was dry and the noise seemed to be coming from three large nails in the floor. The nails were about 6 inches in front of the vent. They seem to go from the floor and into the top wall underneath that’s between the battery compartment wall and the pass thru storage. I can see one that the tip bent out the side of the rail. Has anyone removed them and installed bolts or just removed all together.

Thank you in advance

Larry

We have a slight squeak in the bedroom floor as well. I just ignore it.

We have the same thing in our 2019 3791RD. I also had a nail coming up through the vinyl flooring at the foot of the bed. I was able to cut a small slice in the vinyl and remove the nail, then glue the vinyl down in that spot and use some vinyl sealer to cover it up.
Floor still squeaks though.

I would pull the nails and put in slightly larger wood screws. Countersink them a little and replace the flooring.

Keystone has a vinyl floor repair company. The same company that repairs their roofs. They are coming to my house tomorrow to do a roof repair.
https://wecanfixthat.com They are nation wide. They repaired a screw on my floor and you can't even tell they were there.
