Talking Hello from a new Montana owner

Hello everyone. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I bought my first rv (a 2005 Montana) just a few months ago. I'm new at everything pertaining to rv's. I live in Inglis Florida on Lake Rousseau. Please prepare yourselves to tons of questions, concerns and "what do I do now"s lol. I have several questions already!
I'm also looking for tips and general all around knowledge of this new-to-me life I've chosen to lead.

Welcome aboard the MOC family Celticgypsy and congratulations on your Montana! You'll find lots of friendly folks here with a vast amount of experience and knowledge. When we purchased our MHC, I took to scouring the forum and came up with answers to questions I never knew that I had! LOL When you get time you might want to go to the User CP link at the top of the page and fill out a signature line with your info. That will help others assist you even better when questions arise. Welcome and happy camping!

Welcome to the forums and congrats on purchasing your Montana. Being brand new, I can imagine you are somewhat overwhelmed. In the end, it's really not all that complicated. You learn how to do things one experience at a time and that experience is something you have to experience yourself.

You can ask someone what it is like to play a game of baseball. They can tell you all the rules, all the mistakes that team members make, and all that goes well, and of course "The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat!"

But, you will never really know what all that truly means until you pick up a ball, a bat and a glove and step out into the field and start swinging the bat at a ball being hurled in the air! Then you understand!

The same is absolutely the same with RVing. Yes, ask away. Get advise. We all need that. We all need help. We all need suggestions. There are things that needs to be done that we don't always know. But the time comes when you've got to pick-up the bat and start swinging yourself! Then it becomes real!

You've started swing the bat and done a great job of it so far. Keep swinging! Those answers will come, again ... one situation at a time!

Congrats and Welcome. Don't be shy! Jump right in and participate on the forums!

Welcome to the forum. We bought our 2006 in 2020. It needed some maintenance and we also did many upgrades. It's a learning experience. Everyone on this forum is very helpful. I have asked many questions and always got good answers and good advice.
