Futon cooktop. No gas to it or oven.

Ok, bought a used Montana. People were pigs but winterized the unit and the propane tanks weren’t connected to the regulators. So I had theres and mine and hooked them up. Filled the tanks. Can disconnect and propane flows, however, the new fire ion cooktop I put in and the Costco g oven are not getting propane. Nothing at all. Is the big regulator bad? I’m trying that tomorrow. Should I disconnect and blow air through the lines? Any (most) advice will help as I’m at the end of my rope!

It would be helpful if you told us the year and model. I would start at the regulator.

Do any of the other propane devices (refer, water heater, furnace) work? Is the cooktop/oven in a slide out?

It really aids the diagnosis if you tell us the year and model of your RV.

Steve,

If your stove is in a slide, the line may be kinked.

As mentioned above, if the oven/cooktop is in a slide the flexible gas line that goes between the slide and the frame may be kinked.
There was a TSB put out about that a couple of years ago.
The fix was to install a 90⁰ elbow at one end. I don't remember which end. It should be pretty apparent.
If you are replacing the regulator anyway, it's not a bad idea to disconnect the lines and blow them out.
BTW, IF, you have a propane auto switching valve, make sure the lever is pointed towards the full tank.
You can download the instructions from the files section.

Update-Blew out the lines and it seems the regulator is goofy, needs to be replaced.
