Braking Problem

Hey guys I have a problem with a delay in braking on my 2022 Montana Legacy 3931FB which has the electric over hydraulic disc brakes. My truck is a 2019 Ford F-350 SRW. I have noticed that there is a delay (2-3 sec.) before the brakes really engage on the trailer. My fear is an emergency stop where you need brakes now. Are there any suggestions to fix this problem? I am using the factory Ford controller and I have bleed the trailer brakes but still doesn’t seem to react as quick as I would like. I have the brakes set in the truck for electric over hydraulic and set for more aggressive braking. Does any one have this problem and if so what is the solution. Thanks Raymond Murray

Take a look at these posts, especially the first one. In that case, it was a 2017 Ford...

Thanks RMcNeal

I have read all of those post. I will experiment with some different methods and report back. The brakes work great when you have a lot of reaction time but in a instant reaction situation this could be deadly. If I find a solution I will post back with what works. Thanks
