Moved location of interior ceiling light switch

We didn't like the location of our switches for the overhead living area lights and porch lights.. Had to open the door to the little cabinet area to interior light on/off. I removed the screws holding the piece of paneling holding the light and other switches and discovered there was plenty of extra wire to move the switches to the wall in the hallway across from the entrance door.
Bought a new switch from etrailer and completed the move this weekend. Also swapped the location of the awning and slide switches so I can reach the awing switch while looking out the door so I can watch it go in/out.

The yellow arrow in the second pictures points to where the switch were located. The white three gang switch to the right is the new one.

Nice! I’ve always wondered why in in world Montana put most of the switches in such awkward places.

Crazy if I have it figured out. Looks like if the slide is in, you can't access the old switch location. Is that right?
