Can't switch inverter from disable mode

Hey, I got a 2022 385br. I have been plugged into shore for the last few weeks and decided to try the Inverter before headed off to the mountains. Everything seems hooked up correctly. I turned the on/off switch on and inside the camper I have the display unit showing the 12.6. Once I scroll through by pushing the select button I am seeing the "modes" and it set to PS0 which is disabled. Everything I have tried and read to switch that mode is not working. Any ideas? Thank you.

Just curious. Have you tried unplugging from shore power, then turn the inverter on? See what happens?

Have you tried:
1) turn off the inverter in the battery bay with the large red rotating switch
2) disconnect from shore power
3) verify the inverter controls in your photo are completely dark (off)
4) turn inverter back on at the rotary switch - so it's only powered by the battery
5) power on the inverter at the inverter control and attempt to switch the setting - page 26 of the inverter manual.

Your approach is better than mine. I forgot about the red battery disconnect switch in the front bay.

Your notes made me laugh too.....

I retired from IT (Information Technology). It was the long, outstanding first question when someone had an issues with the software.... Did you turn it off and then turn it back on? Almost always, that cleared up the computer problems.

A few years ago my wife and I were flying from Charlotte, NC to Indianapolis, Indiana. We boarded the plan and sat, and sat, and sat. Finally the pilot came on the PA and said there was a delay, please be patient. A bit later he came back on again and said they were having technical problems. A bit later he came on and said the grounds crew had to replace the "transponder" in the plane. The plane will now need to be shut off and then turned back on. Please do not be alarmed, all the fans and lights in the coach will go off as the entire plane has to be shut down. This will only take a moment.

At that point, I blurted out to my wife sitting beside me, without thinking, in a rather loud vocal voice, laughing in a joking way ..... Yea, THAT's IT! Turn if off and turn it back on! It always work in IT!

I then noticed EVERYONE staring at me. And then it dawned on me, the people on board that plan were all business men, probably traveling for their jobs and by the looks of their faces.... that deer caught in the headlight moment you know???? They ALL must have been employed by their IT departments and only too well knew what I meant!

It actually was a very hilarious moment for us. And I think the truth of the statement was only too real for those other guys on board.

(And, the actual flight to Indianapolis was completely un-eventful ... as it should have been).

I ended up unplugging this ignition port wire. It allowed me to changed the modes so I could get it off disabled mode. Everything worked perfect after that. Thank you all for the help

I had a similar problem. And when I turned it off from the red switch in the battery box and then back on it would turn on. Lived like that all last summer while traveling. Recently spent time on the phone with Magnum's tech team, who were great. They had me unplug the ignition port wire and everything was fine! They told it's not really needed and is more problematic than anything else.

Is that right? I couldn't figure anything else out and didn't understand why it would have an ignition port that's why I tried it. I plugged it back in and so far no more issues. But I haven't been out of the yard yet either. Thanks for that information!

A know problem when it looses power. It defaults to disabled. See he attached docs to set programing. PS1 is what the factory sets it at. I have mine set to PS4 so I can turn the inverter off. PS1 is on all the time.

Depends on your rig. Mine is in the battery bay. Others are in the basement.
