Make sure you get them long enough to over hang the slides by an inch or two on each side. Also make sure the installer mounts the wall rail high enough on the wall so you have a good outward slope for the rain to run off.
Also when they install the wall rail, make sure they use "Oscar" rivits to mount the rail.

Welcome to the forums. Hope you enjoy your new Montana! No advise on the toppers though. I don't have them.

Welcome to the MOC family and your new Montana! Hope you folks make lots of great memories in the near future. You'll get lots of spot on advice for slide topper suggestions. We got ours installed prior to pickup as our dealer offered them for half price installed to sweeten the deal for our purchase.

Amazon is a good start. If you're handy its a relatively easy install with 2 peps.

Look for a local SharePro. They come to you. Toppers, awnings etc.

I'm with Tony...Amazon is a pretty good source. Just do your measuring well. You and a good buddy can do the install if your handy with tools and simple directions.

Any suggestions on an Oscar "style" rivet? Paying $3.00 each for Dometic rivets for 3 slides is more than I'm willing to spend.

I'd like to be able to use the gutter/track that Keystone installs but they cut the length even with the edge of the slide, so it's too short to accommodate the extra length required of the awning.

I searched Amazon for " Oscar rivits" and got a bunch including the Dometic brand.
All of them are 3/16" head. The Dometic are 1" long.

I think the 3/16" is referring to the barrel diameter of the rivet. The head diameter is 5/8", if I read the description correctly. If the head diameter is too large, one could take a little of two opposing sides of the head to make it fit into the space available in the track. Just a thought from a guy that walks around the junkyard looking for stuff to make a handle out of. LOL!

we loved our 3901rk Legacy, full paint, special ordered, waited months, figured build quality would be better! we were wrong.

We have not made our 1st payment on our custom 3901RK Legacy full body paint, 5500k gen-set, 2nd trip out 3 hours from home stop to check everything and find our refrigerator on its Face, kitchen destroyed and good old Keystone Montana says "sorry well fix it", poor workmanship, the countertop, drawers, base cabinet, doors, trim pieces and laminate flooring and refrigerator making funny noise and dented up.
As a good will gesture will extend your warranty 2 months and give up to $500 for fuel.
Really, $166,000 you made off of me and this is all you want to do! Boy customer service outdid themselves on this one.

I just want to warn you, don't spend a dime until you ensure your fridge is installed with a back board behind mounting bracket where its fastened to the wall.

I’m glad you got a factory tour, and you are signing keystone & Montana songs of greatness however, how would you feel to spend $166,000 on a Montana and on your second trip out your refrigerator poked holes on the side walls, destroying your kitchen on its tumble to the ground. I’ll say the quality that Montana had before they were purchased by keystone was second to none. Now they are junk. This is our second keystone. 345RL high country. L2 and neutral were wired backwards. The only thing it didn’t hurt was our Samsung residental refrigerator. Yes They replaced everything and it almost killed our dog. Now 3901RK luxury package, paint, 5500kw onan, 200 solar flex. Didn’t even make the 1st payment yet. Sick to our stomachs. Instead of haveing a bonus for 20 units a day have a bonus after 1 year and no warranty issues. Then you’ll have a reason to earn a bonus. Or maybe pay the bonus and if a problem pops up in your work area your bonus for that camper is taken out of your paycheck. Maybe pay them better and do a bonus on an annual after profit which would show debits from warranty repairs. There innovation lab isn’t gonna be anything but another disappointment to customers.
