Out with old, in with the new!

We finally gave up patching our peeling OEM Java furniture in our rig. Our new Rec-Pro furniture arrived this week and I removed the old furniture and installed the new pieces this afternoon. We decided to go with Rec-Pro’s “Oatmeal” fabric and stayed away from their Ultimate Leather. Sounds like down the road in four or five years it would peel as well. We are really pleased with the new look.

Looking good. We’re doing the same except we went with Lambright. They finished it last week and is set to deliver next week. The factory furniture is very disappointing. I would burn it out of pleasure but I have a dump run to make anyway.

I was thinking about a new recliner or hide-a-bed, but am hesitant to buy something online without actually getting to test it out in person. What did you guys do?

Looks great!

New furniture looks REALLY nice! Unfortunately the DW saw the post and is already "future shopping" and has shown me enough color pallets to make me cross eyed.
Congrats on the upgrades.

Same here but we bought it on hopes it would be ok.

We bought 2 RecPro rocker recliner chairs in 2019 and like them so far.

We replaced the recliners in our Mobile Suites two weeks ago. Bought the replacements from RecPro. Happy so far but not sure the imitation leather is going to last any better on these. They are comfortable!
Upset because we had to replace this furniture in the MS so soon. Rig is a 2018 purchased new in 2019. Put covers over the headrests last year because of the peeling. We live in this rig about 2 months a year and this C R A P didn’t last! The headrest on one of the recliners in our travel 2019 Monty is peeling as well so I moved the headrest covers to that rig.

Be happy you're lasted as long as it has...our Montana is only 2 years old and the crap furniture is peeling, our faucets are also peeling. For what we pay for these should have higher quality furniture and interior!
Very upsetting and disappointing.

That is why we decided to go with the RecPro cloth instead of the faux leather. This is our second 5th wheel that had peeling leather. I didn’t want to find out a few years from now that our “new” purchase was failing again.

Love RecPro!

We removed an old sofa and our dinette set a couple years ago - went with a wall of recliners (5) from RecPro. We could not be happier with the service we received from them. Also, they were easy to connect and are holding up well.

Be glad yours is a Montana. One of ours with (only) the furniture problem is a Mobile Suites.

We replaced our 2017 OEM Montana Recliners with RecPro 2 years ago...

We replaced our 2017 OEM Montana Recliners with RecPro 2 years ago and are very happy with them. We also purchased a Euro Recliner and it is very nice also. All have the faux leather and it is holding up very well. Word of advice - don't try to pick up the recliners from the arms. I tore a small section of the stitching when doing so. It's under the arm and not noticeable. So, I did not contact RecPro for repair.

I suppose I should count my blessings. I have original Thomas Payne furniture in my Montana. It has the leather upholstery and it still looks good, no flaking, no tearing, no sagging. I did have to replace the actuator on one side of the love seat recliner, but now, 5 years later, mine still looks good.

Check out Theater Seats.com We bought the real leather power recliner. For $400 more than Recpro, we got real leather and power recline, which the wife likes a whole lot better. A 5 year warranty!

Our seating just arrived. Luckily it’s quite comfy and plenty long enough when reclining for these long legs. We bought Lambright hoping the premium price will be worth it in the long run.
