Question 400i Solar receptacles not working in new 2023 Montana 295RL

Just purchased and brought home my new 2023 Montana 295RL. Solar outlets were working at the dealership when we went through the walk through, However second day after being home they are no longer working. 120 volt shore power side works, running cords to them for anything currently plugged into the solar plug. TV, Refrigerator etc. Have checked the GFCI and it is good and not tripped. Any suggestions, going to call dealership tomorrow and see what they can offer for a fix. Going to camp at Nascar race in 4 days so no time to take to dealership to have fixed prior to race so looks like extension cords running everywhere. Seems I read alot of posts of campers that are one to two years older having this issue you would think there would be answers by now.

Mod Edit: I created a new Thread for your issue as it differs from the previous discussion.

Mr. Time, check to see if your inverter is on. Just to clarify, your solar only charges your batteries. The outlets are inverted, meaning the inverter steps the voltage up to 120v. The Solar is wired to your solar charge controllers which are connected to the batteries. What is the % charge on your batteries?

You responded on a different post. So, at 13.7 v you should be good. Are you sure your inverter is on? Next question, when you are not on shore power do your 12v lights work?

That was partially my fault Ron. I was creating a new Thread for this topic while the OP responded. I have since moved his post to this Thread.

Mr. Time, have you checked your inverter to make sure it is on?

First off welcome to the forums. What in inverter do you have? Is it a Dimensions? If so cycle the (inverter battery disconnect) this should turn it on. Secondly check the status off the inverter at the remote panel. It should be reading battery voltage. Press the select button several times and note the program settings and then report back.

If it's a Xantrex inverter someone else will need to chime in.

Hello and sorry to hear your having issues. When you say "Solar", are you referring to the outlets that have a yellow and red sticker that looks something like a Sun?

If so there is one in bedroom, behind tv in main area, left of stove, on floor behind couch, etc. These are all on your inverter loop. When on shore power, they get powered from that, when on battery only, you have to turn on the inverter and then these outlets will have 120volts as normal.

Here are a couple things to check:
-In the breaker panel by the steps , Look for a tripped breaker (on mine Keystone labeled it "solar"). Check for anything tripped
-Find your inverter, in lower storage, look on ceiling. There is a plug on the inverter, make sure it hasnt been knocked out. Look at the other wires here too. There are two quick connect plugs (anderson yellow and white), these make the loop, make sure these to are connected.
-Last look for a tripped or resettable button on the inverter.

Let us know what you find.

Scott
