Synergy Brand, SP500 Tires

I have a Montana, 2018, 3721RL coming up on tire age of five years.

In speaking with dealers for Sailuns, they advise that unit they receive the tire, they do not know the country of build, i.e. China versus Vietnam. They likewise have no way to order with a specific country of build.

Based on this I have been looking at alternatives and a local tire shop is advising to go with the Synergy, SP500 commercial trailer series in the ST235/85R16, Speed range L, 14 ply-G Rated.

Anyone have any experience with the Synergy? Seems they have good reviews for commercial use trailers. Pricing is about $180 installed and balanced which seems very comparable to Sailuns which have went up.

It is my understanding that the issue with the Sailun tires manufactured in Vietnam has been resolved.

I am still leary of the Sailuns. I have been a user and promoter until the issues and recall. Thinking Hankook now for me.

It appears that Sutong China Tire Resources is the MFR.

I will certainly take a look at that Hankook H31's when the time comes ,but I believe Sailun will have their issues straightened out by then .

No experience with Synergy, but it appears Sailun has tracked, recalled, and fixed the Vietnam made tire issues. You might look at Carlisle tires. Good reviews and price competitive. I have Sailuns but my neighbor is on his second set of Carlisle and loves them. They travel more than I do and use Discount Tire which stock the Carlisle tires. Might look at those.

Never heard of Synergy here. Doesn't mean they bad, just don't know. I would hope Sailun has captured most of the bad batch of tires in its recall, but you never know. If you stick with them, just look for country of origin and date code before the install.
