Micro air thermostat

I I am not happy with the Dometic thermostat. It does not maintain a decent, stable, temperature control. I’m looking at changing to the micro air thermostat compatible for my Dometic thermostat.

I would appreciate input from anyone who has changed to the micro air thermostat.

The install is a piece of cake. I replaced both Dometic thermostats.

John: do a Search on "micro air' to find lots of positive experiences.

I have to say I was skeptical about spending that much money on thermostats, but after upgrading both of our Dometic CT thermostats to Micro Air's, I couldn't be happier. Our AC hasn't missed a beat since. We were having a great deal of trouble with the AC short cycling and running even after the temperature was much colder than the set point, but the biggest problem was that the AC would shut off, then never restart no matter how warm it got. Set to 70, it could easily be 80+ and wouldn't kick on.
Now I don't have those problems.

Best upgrade we did was going to the Micro Air thermostats and then upgrading to their Easy Starts. Run your A/C and heater right off your phone. It's a simple three wire hookup that ANYBODY can do. No regrets whatsoever.

As Carl said, do a quick search. Many discussions on this item. Pretty much all positive. Ours has been great. Even if there is a problem in set up…or whatever…their customer support is very good.

I install one in mines and love it I was thinking about installing one in the bedroom, but I haven't gotten around to it.

Just when you take apart your old one to take a pics of where the wires go to.

We have two of them, and love them both.
We even did a factory tour when we were in NJ.
The alerts are great, we have had plenty of times when we are away from the camper and leave the thermostats off, then get the notification that our rig is out of our comfort range. I just open the app and turn them on right from my phone and it is right where we like it when we get home
Our article on the factory tour
