LED Light strip help

Happy Thursday! I am looking at repairing a light strip on my kitchen island. I found a short in the tape due to a rough spot on the underside of the counter, which has created a short. It looks like I need about 100 inches of light tape and would like to match to the current lighting in my 2020 Montana 3855BR with the grey maple cabinetry.

I'm looking at the wiring and it looks like it's just spliced wire ends coming from the power supply going to the strip, but all the ones I'm seeing on the Amazon seem to have some kind of plug end or a DC adapter. Does anyone have any experience with replacing these and can recommend a tape I can install? It should be pretty quick and easy if I can find the right tape. Thanks!

Try Lippert Customer Service @ (574) 537-8900. They should be able to set you up with exactly what you need. I had great success in dealing with them, when I had to replace the power strip and other items for the electric recliner seats.

Thanks Bartman! I was hunting around on e-trailer and found this https://www.etrailer.com/LED-Strip-L...s/UCL90CB.html and was thinking it might work.

I've added LED light strips to several places in our rig. It's pretty easy to work with. They are designed to be able to cut them to length and add a connector for wiring. Look at these 2 options. LED light strips come in different colors but are all essentially the same in how they work.

Here are connectors that can attach to the strip

Here's one example of a light strip. I've used this one myself. 12 volt, 2 wire
