2022 high country 295rl moisture issue

We bought our unit and when we were doing our final check before closing it for the winter we found an inch and a half of water in the front window well.
Has anyone else had this issue? And if so how do you handle it, or fix it?

A 2022, if still under warranty, I would contact your dealer. Also, check the sealant where the front cap meets the rubber roof.

Some condensation can be expected on any window. Ours has "some" condensation on the front window, but not so much it puddles to over an inch deep?

The secret to keeping condensation out of the camper is crack a couple windows, or the ceiling vents so air can circulate in and out of the camper. Considering the front window does not open, a small desk fan blowing on the window may be enough to keep the condensation from pooling.

But over an inch of water makes me think there may be a leak around the window. Did you have rain lately? Or since you last checked or noticed the window?

We have contacted our dealership about this issue, but they say it could be a week before anyone gets back to us. So for now we have towels down to try and keep the area dry. I will get my husband to go out and check the caulking

295 rl leaking also

Could you update on the leak? I am on the first trip with my 2022 295rl and checked my front window after seeing your post. It too had water pooled at front window. Thank you!

Our dealer did contact us about the water issue. They wanted us to bring the trailer back for them to assess the issue. Unfortunately we were unable to do so, since we are travelling to Fl. We will monitor the issue over the winter and then take it to the dealer in the spring when we get back. We also think part of the issue might be due to condensation when we were using it in the late fall.
We need to keep an eye on the issue. Let us know what you are doing

I agree with post #3 by Dutchmensport...
I believe it is most likely condensation. In our unit we have a front bathroom with a full tub under that window. Additionally any steam from cooking is going to naturally rise up into the higher front area. If its cold outside there will be condensation forming on the glass. Looks to me like the engineers anticipated condensation and built in the plastic catch pan. In the past we have layed a towel in the catch pan to catch some drips and never worried about it.
Turn on some exhaust fans and crack a window to get some humidity out.

Thank you for your response. I am also in Florida and unable to take it to the dealership at this time. I will keep you posted.

I've got a 2022 295rl, no water in the window. However, my last trailer, a 2021 Cougar 29bhs had the same window with some condensation, not much though.

Will keep an eye on it. It was probably between a quarter and half an inch of water in the seal area. Seems like a lot for condensation?? Have had the vent fan on for at least a few hours everyday. However it is Florida.

Because this is a humidity topic I thought I would share what I find to be a very effective dehumidifier for the price $59 on Amazon. This little bugger does a very decent job in my 3670RL. It will take several cups of water out of the air in a 2 day time frame. It also serves a multicolor night light. I read thru reviews on a dozen cheap dehumidifiers and took a chance with this one priced $20 more than the cheapest ones, because it had many good reviews and also it had a much larger water capacity than the others. I have not been disappointed.
