Small Successes - first outing

Well I've come to the realization that life is indeed like a box of chocolates. First outing and had a good road trip to Bellah Mine COE in Arkansas. Beautiful place where we've stayed in past with SOB. Especially like this COE because it seems to be the old foggies preferred spot and therefore stays peaceful and quite.

Successes so far:
  • Was able to get the living room HDMI ARC cable to fully integrate to the stereo for better late evening TV watching
  • Finally figured out how to get the bedroom TV properly programed so the DW could watch TV before going lights out. Personally wouldn't care if we had any TVs, but of course refer to rule #1 - happy wife happy life
  • DW offered up fresh baked cinnamon rolls this morning for yesterday's efforts. She didn't understand the need to hold the oven knob in for several seconds to get the pilot lite thermocoupler to warm up and stay lit. When the knob was turned to oven temp selection, it wouldn't turn back to the off position to re-attempt the light the pilot light. Pulled the top of the range and found a control ground wire hanging up a piece of the knob preventing full rotation. Got the wiring resituated and back in business
If these are the only "issues" this outing, then I'm definitely going to be marking this one down in the books as a very successful outing!

One thing about owning an RV, you will never be bored for lack of something to do.
