Could there be a MOC rally in Canada?

With these strange times, I wondered if there had been any thought given to creating a spring/summer/fall MOC rally in Canada?
What would that take?

Not a bad idea. All it takes is someone to get it organized.

You are in a great area for a rally.
We would be interested in attending if we could (summers are busy back home, so would depend on dates)

A western Canadian rally would be great. We are going back to Alaska in '23; be glad to stop by.

It would be a long haul - but we would love to travel to Canada...maybe after i retire. DW and i love the TV series Heartland. The scenery is breathtaking. I assume Canada is scenic like that everywhere! Same thing for Texas - everybody here has oil wells and cactus in the backyard...which reminds me - i need to go water my cactus and check the daily output of my oil well.

We would likely be in as it would be great to bring people together! We are in Edmonton.

As someone who tried to get a similar event in Canada there are a couple problems. IIRC, US tax laws do not allow business tax deductions for out of country travel. Depending on what part of Canada you are talking about, Spring can be very tricky. If you opt for the mountains, flood season goes from May 15 to July 15. Again depending on what part of Canada you choose, travel times for a certain percentage of Americans might be too much. Remember, we are the 2nd biggest country but have the population of slightly less than California so locals attending will be much less. Stick to the middle of the US to optimize travel time.

I would go if it’s in Ontario

Yes please, my friend is doing a Grand Design rally at Quinte Isle Campground next to Sandbanks provincial park in June, he is trying to find me a spot for my Montana and make me a Uber golf cart driver for the event.
