Not normal, on mine a trip of about a hundred miles the hubs are warm bur I can hold my hand on them after stopping.

I've never heard of needing to change all bearings if you are changing one unless you are doing a bearing upgrade such as Timken's. If you have 6pt leveling then I would jack the rv up and see just how freely the wheels turn. It could be bearings are to tight or the brake's are sticking. Some Tech's think you need to snug the bearings down which you do to seat the bearing but then don't slightly back off the bearing so you have a slight drag. I would pull all 4 wheels and check the brakes and bearings. Nothing like having to go behind someone you paid good money to.

What was the temp outside when you were washing it off? If really cold that might be the answer.
