Got bedroom satellite TV without wires or reciever

Hello all,
Just thought I would pass this along. We have a 2016 3610, and have never really used the bedroom TV. I guess a couple times I hooked up to the cable at the CG but that's it.
Not wanting to purchase another receiver and pay for the activation I just let it go.
Well I bought an HDMI wireless extender to try in the trailer and it works great!

No you can't watch different channels than the main TV but that wasn't our issue, we always watch TV at the same time. Even the remote control works through this thing. Right now I'm very satisfied. There's a newer model that claims to work 4K but the feedback didn't seem as good. There is a micro-delay if both volumes are up and the remote also has a very slight delay, but easy to compensate for.

I ran a HDMI cable from the entertainment center to the bedroom. Also installed an ir wireless remote extender (from Amazon..cheap) from bedroom to entertainment center. Also had to install an hdmi splitter since Dish 211k receiver only has one hdmi output.

These came with a IR extender and it only took 20 min to hook up. Would have been 10 minutes but this time I read the instructions 😉
