New unit of measure for trip distance

I know we all use # of miles to say how long our trips are.

I am starting to count screws. trip to and from factory was a 12 screw trip.

Took this trailer on a shakedown run and picked up handfull of the common sized screws used all over an RV. Took them to the dealer SM and asked for a bag of replacements since at this rate I would need to replace a LOT of them (we had gone thru the same process on our previous trailer). He brought me out a bag (about the size of a quart freezer bag) full of the screws with black painted tops. Now I'm all set to put them in when they fall out......IF I could just figure out where the hole was they came from....

This makes you wonder what on earth is Keystone Montana thinking about? Do they think? Are they capable of thought?

I think it's because half the screws in a new trailer are stripped. That's because the guy with the driver has not a clue about torqueing down a screw. They just pull the trigger and keep it spinning until the head hits the bottom. That is something that must be taught and no one will take the little bit of time it would take to do it. And then QC might catch it on the back end, but QC? I'm not sure Keystone, or any other RV manufacturer, knows what that actually entails - even if they say they do it.

My mother worked for Lockheed Martin Aircraft Co. (back when it was just Lockheed Aircraft) and she would tell me stories on how they built some of these plane's. (That why we don't fly). A guy was installing some lighting in the ceiling of a L-1011 and he used a # 10 drill to put in # 10 screw's. They all fell out and the lighting fell on the floor. Do you think Keystone has the same guy working there? I am always finding a screw or 2 or 3 every time we get to the campground or when we get home.....
