Furnace and Water Pump Issues

We have a 2021 Montana 3813MS that we purchased from Camping World. We bought it during nice weather and didn’t need to run the furnace. The places we camped at had water hook up so we didn’t run the water pump except for winterizing. We just went out for the first camping trip of the season and had a couple of issues. The gas furnace will come on, run for a bit, shut down and then come back on again. Over and over. It never stays on constant until satisfying the thermostat. The water pump comes on and eventually satisfies, shuts down then comes back on, again, over and over. I have not found any water leaks. I’m wondering if the check valve is not holding and the water is running back into the storage tank. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Ken

Ken,

First, welcome to the forum!

Here is a thread that talks furnace issues including a link to the furnace troubleshooting guide. One potential issue is the 15 amp self reseting circuit breaker needs to be replaced. https://www.montanaowners.com/forums...ad.php?t=88049

Your water pump sounds like either you have the fill switch in fill vs normal or there is an air leak in the water line.

It's possible that the water pump check valve is leaking. There could be debris in it and it may work itself clear. The furnace could be several things. Use AZ's link to troubleshoot.
