model?
I am wondering if anyone has any information about the Montana model that had storage under the front and back. Both the bedroom and the living were raised.

Nice models, my wife really liked the and I really love the extra storage plus it would seem to work well for removing pin weight.

We have a 2017 3790RD and love it. I really like the extra storage in the rear. Lots of room and the weight of the extra stuff isn't all pin weight.

Thanks I am thinking of buying one and was wondering if there was any drawbacks to this layout. The storage is my selling point but as we all know the wife has to be happy.

If we were in the market for a 3rd Montana at this time the 3791RD would be our choice by far.

We also have the 3790RD, went to this after a series of approximately 6 new trailers over an 8 year period trying to find the one that fit right and had the storage I wanted. Everyone we bought seemed right at the first but after having a two or three week vacation in them there was always something we'd like to change.
Bought this 3790 and happy to say after 2 years still extremely happy with this model. The storage areas are awesome, nothing is cramped in and piled on top of each other, the front big storage area is essentially empty when travelling, I keep all the heavy stuff in the rear storage areas. Now retired been in Florida since October and have to say this model is perfect for long term living.
We went with the propane/electric model as I play in a band thus boondock alot at festivals all summer long
Good luck and happy hunting.

Storage area is a relative thing determined by how you use the RV. Weekender, Occasional user, long timer, full timer. What may be a lot of storage space to a weekender would not meet our long time needs at all.

I actually like the sound of this floor plan whereby there are large storage areas are in the front AND back. As long as you have a tow vehicle that can handle the RV's gross vehicle weight (when fully loaded), I think it's a clever way to meet the problem area for a lot of tow vehicles... that is, the pin weight of a fiver.
All my major storage areas are at the front of the RV in my floor plan. This nearly got me in trouble with my tow vehicle and it required some major mods to satisfy the pin weight (the rear axle of my TV was the ONLY axle causing me weight compliance issues). Upgrading my truck's suspension was how I solved this temporary problem, and I've always wondered if I could shift the trailer's load back a bit to the other side of the axles could have helped.
Whatever I've done to my truck since would not be enough to be able to tow these new Montanas... many of them are have over 15,000 lbs gross, and not only does this exceed my trucks weight ratings, I would have to get a new driver's license endorsement (including medical requirements) in my state and I just don't want the hassle.

Yes I have all the heavy stuff stored in the rear storage areas, there a few things up front mostly some parts bins and my cleaning rags. For the most part the very large front storage under the bedroom is empty and the front storage/battery area has my cleaning brush and some wax. I carry impact guns, large tool sets, saws, drills, lots of chairs, ladder etc etc all in the rear storage, the pin weight came in at 2780lbs last time on the scales....

We recently bought the 17 3791RD. Only able to take it out once so far, but have lots of trips planned/booked coming up. We couldn't be more happy with both the storage and the interior space. We like not being in the kitchen while in the living room. We are still arranging the storage areas. We aren't full time yet, but will be soon. I even put 2 plastic storage racks (2 tier) in the front to keep stuff on and still have PLENTY of room.

We have a 2017 3790RD and really love it. We are full time and the 3790 has ample storage in the kitchen area for my wife, and tons of storage underneath for me. Still moving things around to get the right weight distribution.
I really like the 6 way leveling system; our last trailer did not have that.
