Our first 5th wheel, Montana 3790rd

My wife Becky and I just sold out 2006 Newmar Mountain Aire 4304 and decided we wanted a 5th wheel. We only considered the Solitude or the Montana, and found an amazing 2018 Montana from a nice couple up here in WA. We purchased a 2020 GMC 3500HD Denali long bed and looking forward to getting out.

Our goal is to move into our Montana in the next year or so, or not, we are staying flexible.

Planning all the new upgrades for the Montana.

Welcome to the forum. We have the same model, a 3791RD, except residential refrigerator. If you're like me, you'll love having the storage space in the back. I call it the "garage".

Welcome to the Montana owner site. We also have a 3791RD. We love this floor plan and the huge storage in the back of the unit.

Better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it. In the overall picture it is a small price to get the slider than risk it for a few hundred dollars. I have a manual Curt slider and always have and I have rarely used it. But that time I will need it I will be very glad I have it.
