receiver hitch needed

I have a 2006 Montana 29RL and would like to add a receiver hitch to the rear to hold bikes. The bottom is all covered with a heavy cardboard or equal. Before I try to open it up, what am I to expect as to frame and strength?
Thanks

Hidden Hitch (aka Drawtite) makes an adjustable bolt on hitch 82201 that is adequate for bicycles. Anything heavier should be a welded on hitch fabricated by someone familiar with doing so. I had the 82201 on my 2005 2955RL for many years and miles. I installed it on the inside of the I frame after lowering the coroplast for access.
