Need clarification please?

After the tray dumps ice, does the water just overflow some into the ice cube tray and then into the ice bucket? Or... does it continue running water constantly filling up the ice bucket with water?

If it's just spilling over a small amount of water, check the actual ice cube tray and make sure no ice cubes are actually stuck in the slots and not falling out, thus causing a small amount of over flow. However, if it's overflowing a lot, or water constantly running, then something else is going on.

Would you explain a little more detail please?

Water supply valve is turned on or off manually. That should have nothing to do with the water running constantly in the ice maker. Sounds like the valve inside the ice maker is stuck in the on position.

Here's what I'd try first, if you have not done so already. Well, second....

First, turn the water supply off, shut the water off, turn your water pump off, or disconnect from shore water. Anyway you want, stop the water.

Next, let the ice maker thaw out completely. Turn the refrigerator off, unplug it ... as the Samsung cannot be truly turned off, or flip the breaker at the breaker box, or unplug the trailer completely from shore power. Any way, just kill the power to the refrigerator. Let the ice maker thaw out.

It's possible the valve (literally) froze with ice and it's stuck in the on position. Give it a chance to thaw out (a couple hours with the freezer drawer open to warm it up). The turn everything back on and see what happens.

If then, it still running water, there's a mechanical failure going on somewhere in the ice maker.

Now, if you already tried this, then advance to the next step ... which will mean ... dismantling something.

Water is off and frig breaker off. Is it possible the water supply valve on the back of frig is not shutting off when maker is full or is sensor on tray bad. Is there a way to test that you know . thanks
