Furnace
Wouldn't you know it. The furnace worked fine until we went from 80's to 40's in one day. It tries to start. Actually have heat and then it quits. Tries to start three times and then it stops. Took the cover off the outside. There is a red light blinking on the circuit board. No loose wires observed. Looking for suggestions. Thermostat is working just fine with A/C. Plenty of gas - fridge and stove work fine.

Sounds like a propane flow problem tothe furnace. Bad valve?
If you have good flow to the water heater & stove, it's not your tanks or regulator.
Hopefully somone has had this very issue before and will chime in. Good luck!

It seems like a bad valve to me also. Hopefully someone has a solution.

Since the fan and all the circuitry in the furnace works on 12V, I would remove the 12V fuse to the furnace for a few min, then replace it, that might reset something on the control board and it might then work properly.
The flashing red light has some meaning, what that is I don't know, but it might be as simple as a reset.
What furnace do you have in your unit.

Don't know what heater you have, but here's an Atwood Hydroflame guide if you count the flashes.
NUMBER OF LED FLASHES DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION LOCKOUT
1 Low Input voltage SOFT
2 Ignition Failure SOFT
3 Open High Limit SOFT
4 Stuck Sail Switch HARD
5 Module Fault HARD
NOTE: A SOFT lockout is a condition that is timed and will make additional
attempts to correct the problem. A HARD lockout requires reset of
the thermostat or turning the power switch off then back on

Well, it's working again, perfectly. I don't know if we had air in the line or a stuck valve, but it is nice and toasty in here. That allows me to run the furnace and winterize on Monday if I want.

Did you press the EASY button or what?
Glad it's working again for you no matter what the cure.

I had the same problem, Ron - wouldn't work then started to work. Water got on the board. When it dried out, it ran just like it was supposed to.

I have had 3 calls lately, the flame sensor was dirty in all of them, sometimes the flame sensor and the ignition spark are the same. Just clean them and you are good-to-go. I would suggest blowing the plenum out with air, could be something that is not allowing the sail switch to prove, or a marginal contact.
Flame sensor/ignition source (Sparker) Sorry it is out of focus

Thanks to Ozz for always sending photos, so those of us that are not as experienced know where to look.
