Lithium Inverter

OK simple question. What would make a good Lithium charger for one or two batteries? Brand and model if you have it.
Thanks Lynwood

Progressive Dynamics supplies the converters in the new Montanas and they are lithium capable.

Take a look here https://www.progressivedyn.com/lithi...power-centers/

Converter/Charger for Lithium Batteies

We replaced ours with a PD4575LICSV. We have two 100AH 12V LiFePO batteries for about a year now! Lost the lead acid battery weight & gained significant power plus minimal storage discharge. We really like them, even when I’ve killed the batteries (BMS shut them off for low voltage) by leaving the coach on while in storage (for 3 months), literally 3 minutes with jumper cables from the TV & good to go!
Used the OEM/installed charger for 6 months with no ill effects, but always knew to get full benefit of LiFePO batteries needed to change.
Attached is picture of what I purchased, fit in same spot.

Lynwood, are you looking for an inverter/charger or charger only. The Magnum series are highly rated and Xantrex also has one that is an inverter and charger. If you just want a charger, the Progressive Dynamics are good. What size, 2000 or 3000 watt if Inverter/Charger?

Lynwood,
Our rig came with the PD4575 that Ron suggested. One thing to note - when you start charging LiFePO4 at 75 amps the 50 amp auto-reset breaker for the coach 12v feed will trip and the batteries won't charge (12v in the coach will still be supplied by the inverter so you won't know this happens). Once shotepower is disconnected the breaker will reset and you'll be running off batteries that will not recharge from shorepower. I changed mine out to an 80 amp manual reset breaker and it is working fine. You should use 4 gauge wire to/from the breaker to charge at 75 amps.

I'm on a (long) wait list for a new Victron MultiPlus-II 2x 120V inverter/charger and will then take my converter offline completely and my whole rig will be inverter powered thru the panel. Will only be able to run one AC off inverted power though. The Victron has a configurable lithium charge profile that the PD converter doesn't (though it charges my 618 Ahr bank just fine) and the Victron will charge at higher amperage back thru the 2/0 cables that will connect it to the bank (not back thru the coach's 12v panel feed as the converter does). I will sell my Magnum 2k watt inverter With integrated transfer switch when done. Will probably leave the converter in place since it fits in the panel.
