Dicor roof material recall?

Is anyone aware of a Dicor roof material recall? Our Mobile mechanic replaced one of our roof A/C units last week and warned me of a soft spot in our roof. Told me their shop was replacing one unit that had a recall on the Dicor material. Hope to learn more about it before I contact their factory.

Thanks in advance for any info!

This is our 2019 Mobile Suites. Apparently Dicor is still replacing roofs.

I thought you were referring to the Dicor self leveling adhesive. You're talking about the TPO membrane. I was looking at Keystone product recalls not Mobile suites.

Would love to know about a recall, We have a 2014 Montana High Country.
starting last fall, the roof was sticky, My shoes would actually pull away some of the roof material. Its not sap or anything on the roof. Looks like the membrane in breaking down. Camper stays covered in a metal structure.
Thanks Chris.

I'm fairly sure the recall wouldn't apply to a 2014.

It seems like it would be a tough argument to win to prove material failure. Are you the original owner? Have you documented the degradation over time? Would you need to have help from a lawyer? The cost of a few consultations and phone calls to the lawyer and you are more than half way to a new membrane roof.

I have not documented anything at this point. We just noticed a small area last fall and it seems to be spreading this year.

That's not the membrane itself, it's the plywood underneath. You've water getting into that plywood and causing the softness.

Roof

I have 2013 Montana, My mechanic just brought it to my attention, roof is also showing.Sticky, spongy, shoe tread marks, all over roof. I have noticed for last three years or more.I was going to have mechanic do a re coat of reflective epoxy paint. He advised me he would not re coat as he had never seen a roof membrane, with a gum like, surface as such. I called Dicor. They told me roof is out of warranty. So what do we do for this problem??? Not sure if it would make sense to replace.Cost verses time. I have re painted 2 other roofs with rubber roof paint,it did help prolong roof life. The trailer is in good shape.

I know a lot of people that have used that rubber paint with success. I wouldn't hesitate if I was in your position. That with Dicor should work just fine. It's about $500 a can

Yes, that is probably what we will do. We would love to trade in for a new one but the prices are just crazy these days.
