winterizing batteries
I have a 2022 monti 3231CK. what is the best way to winterize the batteries. last year I left the house power pluged in. I want to unplug the trailer this winter. should remove the batteries.

I never have removed the batteries. If you don’t wont to leave it plugged in get a smart charger or unhook the batteries. The best thing is to just leave the camper hooked up.

I never removed the batteries for storage in Missouri. Some winter days close to or below zero. I always insured the batteries were fully charged going into storage then disconnected the negative cable.

Fully charge them and then disconnect them. No need to leave them on a charger.

Yes, no problem for lead acid batteries if they are charged (just like your car). However, don't let parasitic current draws discharge your batteries; that would be a problem if it is cold.
For my lithiums, I discharge them to about 80% SOC then disconnect them even though my RV is plugged in. I've read that it is better for lithiums not to let them sit at 100% all the time.

I don't do anything. Just leave the camper plugged into electricity all the time. If you can't plug into shore power, then disconnect the batteries completely after fully charging them so the electronics inside the camper won't parasitically deplete them, or keep a trickle charger on them if you do not disconnect them. No need to remove them from the camper itself.
But! Nothing says you can't remove them if you want and it just makes you feel better about things.

We don’t do anything special. I just treat them like our truck batteries. No insulation and make sure they are fully charged.

No you don't need to do anything but charge them.

First winter with the 3123RL. 400 watts solar and Dragonfly batteries.
Plugged into 50 amp shore power with the battery heaters on.
Any advice?

Your plan works or unplug the rig and fully disconnect the battery bank. Either works.
