Don’t let down your guard

on covid. Two close friends have come down with it in the last 3 weeks. First felt really bad for two weeks and is slowly starting to feel better. Fever, congestion, sore throat, and general lack of energy, but started the covid treatment early and fortunately no serious issues. The other just tested positive today and is starting treatment. Also fortunately, I haven’t been around them since about a month ago.

It ain’t over yet. Be safe out there.

This variant isn’t too bad, usually but can be. I worry about the next variant.

I suspect we will be getting annual updated covid boosters to go with our annual flu shots.

The first had their second boosters. He has some other general health issues. His wife did not get covid even though she stayed with him.

The second had the first booster. I think the second but not sure. She has also had some other health issues, nothing serious. Her husband with even more health issues hasn’t tested positive or had any symptoms. Yet.

We're both quad vaccinated Moderna and neither have any comorbidities that put us at greater risk. That being said neither of us wants to get sick no matter how mild the symptoms. So we upped our masks to KN95's. These come highly recommended and I can confirm they are very comfortable.

A creditable source on the latest variant:

I am closing this thread before we start handing out medical advice.

A friendly reminder this is an RV site and not a medical info site unless it directly relates to a RV.
