Not sure what kind of washer you have, but if it is a Splendide, the winterizing instructions are available on their web-site: Splendide.com. Basically, it involves running rv antifreeze through the hot and cold water feed lines into the washer drum until visible, then using the spin cycle to remove it. We use two steps, one for hot and one for cold water so we can make sure that the pink stuff is visible in the drum for each cycle. Our ice maker is the portable kind, so we winterize it by removing it from the rig.

X2 on the splendide. We followed that procedure last year and were fine. This year we're taking it south. Can't help on an ice maker accept feeding it pink stuff until it comes out in the pan would probably work as well.

Thanks. I think its figured out. Will know for sure in the spring when we open the Monty up for the summer. Got two more weeks of our hosting the jams at the campground, then finish the winterizing then hunker down till warm weather comes around again. Got the Montana decals taken care of and new ones on, but are still getting all the stripes and Mountaineer scenes off. In the spring we'll start putting things back on, and after thinking more about it, being we're both artists, we'll paint a scene in place of the Mountaineer scenes and of course paint all the stripes, and add the same reduced stripes to the truck. Am sure it will keep us out of trouble for a while.
