Pliable water hose?

Does anyone know of a good quality sanitary water hose that remains pliable in cooler weather? The one that we have is all stiff and hard to handle when temps drop below 60.

Would be interested in a response as well. That power cord also gets pretty stiff in the cold.

For your power cable check out Polarwire.com. I have some of their power cable and it is very pliable in cold weather..

We have 2 50' ones like in the link below as well as a 25'. Have been very happy with them so far. I do keep my water pressure regulated at 45psi going to the hose from the spigot so I don't overpressure and blow the hose apart. Hope this helps. Tim

Tim, Had one of those when we owned the horse trailer. After about a year it developed several pin hole leaks in the crease where it laid flat to roll it up. I had to be careful how it was laid out due to a bend in the hose restricting water flow. Have they made improvements in the last couple years?

There's a product being advertised on TV these days which looks perfect to solve the issues mmentioned. i haven't paid any attention to the name but I have been impressed with the product. When I see it again, I'll post the name. I do recall that it is 2 25' lengths with brass fittings and it stretches and retracts as the user requires and that one 25' length weighs 2 lbs.and you get 2 25' hoses for 29.95 plus plus the usual shipping and handling!

DonandBonnie, So far we have had good luck with ours, no holes in the area that you spoke of. We have had them close to a year now. We are careful not to step on them and don't have them laid out where bikes or anything can roll over them. Not sure if dropping the pressure at the spigot makes any difference but seems to work for us. We do turn the water off when we leave the camp site, I think this is good practice though with any hose that you use. Camping World does have another similar to the ones that I have but I have no idea how good they are. Link to other hose is below. Tim

These might be worth another try. The important thing is that that they don't leave an odor or taste with drinking water. Been thinking about one of those hoses that shrinks up when not in use, but I can't see where they are drinking water safe.

I had one of those green hoses that shrinks up and blew the female end off of it after just a few uses. I didn't purchase it on line, I got it at Wally World and packaging said 'as seen on TV'. Not sure if it's rated for potable use. Link below to one exactly like what I had. Tim
