Arctic Outbreak....Again?

Sitting here in 34 degree temps, heading to 22 by morning. Next 10 days more of the same. Two ceramic heaters and fireplace doing great so far.

Our 2008 did great in these types of temps, I hope this new one does just as good.

I am sure we are not alone. According to the weather map there will be a ton of Montana owners dealing with these early winter temps.

We usually don't leave Ohio until the day after Christmas. This year we escaped early. The long range forecast in the north does not look promising.

We're grateful for the beautiful temperatures here in Colorado Springs up till yesterday. I'm thinking it's now time to pay the piper.

Half inch of snow on the ground-- temps with highs in the mid 20's and lows in the single digits to low teens. BURRRRR! More snow scheduled for Friday and Saturday with flurries over the days between! Just saw the long range forecast for the area and predicting 30-34" of the pretty white stuff compared to the 17.5" last winter. Heading for the Southwest come January because they say it will be the place to be this year for warmth!

Hope all of you hardcore winter people have your heating blankets ready. I always have mine on our bed, just in case, lol. Just before calling it a night, turn it on, secure the coach, turn on the tv or get the Saduko book out, the crawl into that toasty bed, lol.

Here in the Florida keys. Been enjoying 80s but a cold spell down to the 70s for a few days! Better here than back in Nebraska.

Yesterday was beautiful here in Roswell, pulled in yesterday after visiting Lonnie at his tire shop in Clovis, to the newer members, Lonnie is our go-to tire expert, many if us have stopped and re-tired at his shop. He is such a nice guy. I had issues with my tires a few years ago, Lonnie and his wife drove all the way to Tucumcari to help us.
The weather is supposed to be great here today, but the icy blast is forecasted to hit here as well. We are parked under the rim of a UFO here in Roswell for shelter, they must be out harvesting parts from cows now.
Nice to be retired... Again..
Be safe out there friends.

Heard a noise in the Montana last night and I thought well what is falling apart now. Turned out it was the furnace that kicked on as it dropped to 60 degrees last night. Haven't heard that sound for a long time.
