Awning slow to retract

Awning is sluggish on retraction and seems like it is binding and slow. It extends at the normal speed and sounds okay. My battery was low but I was plugged in. Have not used it for fear of not being able to roll it back up. Help.

Use a little silicone spray on the moving parts, especially the struts and the tube joints.

Interesting you should post this as I've starting having the exact issue. My batteries are fully charged and I've lubricated the awning but it is still really slow. I'm wondering if I don't have a awning motor issue.
