Thanks! I downloaded it and added it to my Montana 375 folder on my laptop. I've now got 40 PDF documents like this now for different items on my Montana. I suppose the electronic version is a good thing. It sure does away with hauling a ton of paper documents everywhere. It would still be nice if Montana or the dealerships would provide these documents. But nope, they make us scramble to find them.

Again, Nice Find! Thanks for sharing!

Good find. It has been added to the MOC files section for future easy reference.

Download the Lippert NOW app from Google play store. Lots of good info, manuals, TSB, torque specs, troubleshooting etc.
Lippert also has excellent help desk support.
Phone: 574-537-8900
Email: customerservice@Lci1.com

You can also find the Dexter Axle Manual in the files section.

They don't specify dry or lubed.

Jim,

As a general rule if a torque spec does not specify lubed or dry it should be considered dry.

Good info .....but my 7lb axles u-bolts are 1/2 inch not the 9/16 inch that Lippert says it should have at 90 lb torque. Hmmmm. Is this another fail or did they realize that the 1/2 bolts weren`t strong enough. Great....more to worry about. LOL

Some rigs have Dexter Axles (we do). The manual, along with the torque specs, is in the files section.
Now the Road Armor Equalizer is Lippert and the torque values are in the Lippert NOW app.

Just to be sure, crawl underneath and look for a sticker on the axle.

I think this is the chart needed for the U-bolts.

I`m going with the second set of specs since this is what I torque them to. I can easily tell when the bones in my arm start to creak, I know I`m at 70 lbs.

I am looking to get an extra spring hanger just to have if needed, i know they are welded but if needed for any shop i would have one for them .another catalog everything for parts is there you just need to find it. if you download it is a lot easier to find what you may be looking for.
