I dont use any liquid ... I use my air hose at low psi and blow out the condenser coil..

The Evap area is where the gateway is tucked away at down just inside the duct ... I would not want liquid getting down into the wiring..

Since I pull my AC covers every spring and keep my inside return filters clean there is really no need for me to use any liquids to clean either coil area..

I also wipe down the components with a damp rag and check the fan motor bearings for evidence of too much play..

My unit is now 11 years old.. both AC units inside are as clean as day one.
