Removal of Seat Cup Holder/Controls

Has anyone ever removed the pictured seat cup holder/controls? It is on the powered recliners in our 2018 Montana 3950BR. It doesn't want to pop out from the top and I can't see how to access it from below (without taking the seat apart in some way). I'm trying to adapt a seat cover that doesn't have a cutout for this cupholder.

I assume you cannot just pop it out like the ones in the center. It has all the electrical controls for the recliner.

Based on what your are describing, I would cover the hole with something to create a backing for your seat cover. They was someone on eBay that 3D printed a tray that fit our cup holders for us so my wife could put her wine glass on the tray. He was really easy to work with. Maybe he could print a blank cap that you could cover with poly foam like that used in a pillow, then place your seat cover over it?

Having trouble find contact info right now. Will try to dig it up tomorrow.

btw, we have the same year/model! Since counter space is so tight, I bought a Camco cutting board designed to fit over the stove so we have more prep space. You can buy on Amazon. Search my posts to see a picture!
