Winegard 360+ No Signal? - Help

When trying to hook up to the Winegard 360+ on the roof, I can't get a signal. If I connect to the lower connectors, by the water control panel, I can get a signal. I even put in a booster.... still can't get a signal from the roof connection. Ideas?

Hondo - you have attached to an 8 year old discussion. I would suggest you start a new discussion about your specific issue. Or ask a moderator to move your post to a new thread.
And include your year and floorplan.

Hondo - don't feel bad. I've done the same exact thing. Hopefully I only do it once, but only time will tell...

F.Y.I. per BB_TX's suggestion, a new Thread has been created for this topic.

Not really sure which signal you are looking for since the 360+ receives 3 different signals. I’m guessing you are looking for a TV signal.

Do you have Key TV? If not then you would need to turn on the satellite to receive over the air TV…and that’s only if a signal is available to receive.

Somewhere in your rig, depending on the model, there should be a cable wall plate with a small push button on it. Pressing that button will change your cable reception from local cable to over the air. A small light will also turn on that will indicate that you have activated over the air vs cable. If the light is on then you can set your TV to search for channels. If there are any available in your location it will find them.

In my driveway at home I can receive up to 50 channels. Where I am camping at the moment I can’t receive any.

The plate you’re looking for will like like this:

Hondo, with a Winegard 360+, you don’t need a booster. You have a KeyTV unit. First, after scanning channels on your bedroom and living room TV, do either of them have good reception. If not, start first by pulling out your KeyTV in the convenience center and check the connections on the back. The KeyTV works great for many of us but there have been many reports of bad connections and loose connections. After that, I assume you have scanned the channels on your TV. If that doesn’t fix it, you may have to check the roof connection and the connections at your wall plates. Best of luck.
