Magnets

This has me baffled.
My buddy has a Montana High Country and on the front side storage door there are 2 magnetic catches. One works fine but the other has 0 stick. They don’t repel, but they don’t stick. Take them off the unit and they work like they are suppose to. Why?

Smile magnets

I don't know WHY it does this for sure either but in cases like this I figure the wife must have caused it.

Just kidding of course!

Maybe one of the contact sides is just dirty or oily
