Do you carry a compressor ?
How many of you carry a small compressor, and what brand? A lot of the small pancakes are heavy, and most only go 125 psi. Looking for a lite weight solution.

We have a Porter-Cable CMB-15 Not very heavy and 150 PSI. Not on the road yet but plan on carrying it in the truck bed.

The PC 150psi pancake is light weight and does a good job at a reasonable price. Easily airs up my 110psi G-rated tires. Always leave campground with air tank full in case I need to top off on the road.

I carry a small 120 volt Craftsman compressor that is supposed to make 125 psi, but with luck I can air up the tires to 110 psi. They don't make this one anymore, and if it ever dies, I will look for another compact compressor, hopefully that makes a little more pressure. Haven't had a need for the 12 volt compressors, but would not rule them out.

Porter Cable 150 psi also. Will air up the g-rated tires to 110 psi without any problem and works very well also for a nail gun. You can get these at HD or Lowe's usually for 99.00

Always carried a Craftsman compressor 120VAC. Gave up on the 12 VDC units, very poor capapcity to inflate a tire to even the 80 psi that I needed. YES, Only 80 in my lightweight 2006! Gota Love it!

Bought one of the recently. Lots of good reviews, lithium battery and rated for up to 160psi. Wanted something self powered. 3 year warranty and 90 day money back guarantee.

Last week bought a Harbour Freight pancake 150 psi to replace my Porter Cable that crapped out. So far so good.

I carry one but never had to use it except to air up my air bags. It would take so long to air up a tire that a 12 volt compressor may be a waste of time. I have not seen the Viar in action so I can't say on that one but I have tried the rest and not much good for anything. Just look at the diameter of the piston and then you realize how many puffs it would take to fill a tire. A compressor with a tank would be a better choice but they take up a lot of room.
