Hooking my cable internet up

Hi everyone! I have cable internet through Spectrum, and thought I should be able to hook the line up to the "SAT" input in the convenience center, then out from the SAT output in the trailer to the router. Has anyone done this? I ask because it's not working for me

Try plugging it into the cable, not the satellite.

Not sure about cable internet, but when hooking up cable television, you attach the coax wire to the camper, but your antenna power booster has to be turned off.

Try turning off the power booster, see if that works.

Edit:
Just saw the post above this one. You do not want to plug into Satellite as that is a dedicated line designed to be brought directly into the satellite receiver.

Hey Dutchman yeah, data stream is just like sat was my thinking, receiver/router kind of the same thing. But where would I find a switch for the power booster? Haha thanks!

At both of our home bases I just run the cable in with the water line and then around the end of the convienece center divider and into the basement to the router.

Generally the power boost button is near the bedroom tv where the tv plugs into the wall. It has a small light.

If you have that crappy KeyTV thing on the newer models, then I believe there is not power switch in the bedroom. with out KeyTV I would think either cable or Sat input would work with the power button off.

I have Spectrum and I ran the cable from the box up through the water opening into the convenience bay. From there I ran it around the divider and into the storage bay. Works great throughout the unit.

I have spectrum and I keep mine in the basement hooked up through keytv cable input, works great. I don’t use the spectrum box but rather the spectrum app to watch their programming with lots more options
