Awning wrinkling now

It's been very windy for 2-3 days. When awning starts bouncing a bit I retract it to about 2 feet. Somehow now when I roll it up, it starts to wrinkle near the door when it is about 2 feet out.
Any suggestions on how to get it to roll up properly?
Thanks

Wait for the wind to stop?

It could be the awning material has slid on the roller and is no longer square to the trailer. There are older posts about this and how to correct it. Once you get it lined up, mark a line with a Sharpie where the end of the material should be on the roller Next time it is easy to know where to move the material. .

What Carl said. I had the same problem. Takes a little patience, but you can pull and tug it into position so that it is square to the frame.

Strange, but I later rolled it all the way out and let it set for 30 minutes. Rolled it back in and all was well!!!

Mine did the same thing at Bodega bay. Retracted it during a windy night. Next morning i noticed a wrinkle. Extended it let it get some sun and retracted it. All was well.

I agree with all of the comments.

I strongly suggesting checking the location where the set screw for the awning material is located to ensure that it is still holding the material in place. If it is good, then you are done. If it is not, then remove the screw, pull the material back into position and replace the screw. While you are there, marking the spot, as suggested by Carl, is a very good idea. This is a very good reference if there were a future issue.

Cheers
