Norcold 4 Door Refrigerator Fried.

Our large RV Gas/Electric refrigerator quit working. We moved campgrounds today. I noticed the lights did not come on when we opened the doors at our new site.
I Pulled the cover outside and was shocked to see all the wires were completely fried ! The insulation was burned off. Upon further inspection, two screws that hold the absorption unit and burner in place had backed out! (Loctite anyone? ). It appears the gas line to the burner broke and something caused the gas to ignite. I further surmise the flame burnt all the insulation off the wires. Perhaps I was saved from a larger disaster when the bare wires touched and shut off the gas flow(?).

My question, in your opinion / experience, is this refrigerator repairable? Or do I need to think about replacement?

Installing the JC Refrigeration 12v compressor mod may be a viable correction.
