Cool 3761fl remote switches

I just purchased a 2021 3761fl. In the control panel there is switch marked "remote switch". The owner said he had no idea what it is for. I suggested that it might activate a remote switch. He said he had not received a remote from Camping World and was told nothing about one (big surprise!). Should this model have a remote and if so, how can I get one?

What kind of switch is this? A full on and off or is it a momentary type switch that may be used to start a generator?

That is a personal decision. Some only turn their inverter on for travel or boondocking only and some leave it on to pick up the load if shore power is lost. I do the later.

On my setup, I have to leave the inverter on for those outlets to have AC power while on shore. The inverter is just passing shore power. The magnum has a built in transfer switch and needs to be on and in bypass mode to work.

It is for the factory installed inverter which runs 5 receptacles and the fridge on battery when your not on shore power. The inverter is on the roof of the front pass thru drivers side.

When I did the pdi on my used 2021 3761 fl. I was told to leave it on that it keeps check on the batteries and if they need topped off on charge it takes care of it.
