anybody order a new truck in the last month

Just curious to what other dealers are saying abut getting a new truck from one of the big 3 since the strike

It appears there has not been much movement, but I have not been paying much attention. You should jump on the truck forums to see how things are moving. The lead time will probably be a few months.

I ordered a F150 Powerboost King Ranch about a month or a couple weeks before that. The order hasn’t been pulled yet. Ford won’t start building 2024 trucks until after the first of the year.

Now let me add, how long an order takes depends somewhat on how many trucks your dealer is allowed to order. They are allowed to order only so many.

Just bought 2024 Chevy Duramax 2500. The dealers appear to have some inventory and didn’t have to order. Still trying to decide what hitch to replace old Reece hitch with. I got 6’ 10” bed with puck system. Would like to get by with fixed hitch rather than roller since haven’t used that feature on old one in last 12 years

Goose box type will work just fine GM has moved the center (hole)ball back so you will have more clearence from hitting te back window
