Auto level not working
Don’t know if anyone can help or not, but we recalibrated the 6pt system and then raised the front to 1 degree and hit auto level. Front started to go down and does not seem to know when to stop. Continues to try to lower front jacks but they are down as far as they will go and then times out. Thanks for any replies.

Are you by chance low in front? That will cause what you are describing. It needs to be able to lower the front a certain distance or it can’t complete the calibration.

We always start with ours being nose high so it can lower the nose and then complete the cycle.

Can you Level it manually??
We had a rear sensor go bad an would do funny things trying to Auto Level, but would work fine in Manual Mode.

We have raised the nose up to like 2 degrees and it will lower like it is going to start but then it won’t stop. It is almost like it does not know that the front is level

Assuming the recalibration was done correctly. If so, in auto mode the nose must be able to go below level before the rest of the sequence can continue. If parked on an unlevel site where the nose cannot go below level, the front jacks will go all the way down and not function properly.
I once had to hitch back up to the truck, dig underneath the front jacks so the nose would go lower, then started all over. It worked. When in doubt try auto level on a level site and go from there.

Forget about one or two degrees above level, just get the front way up above level, then hit the auto level button.

I don't know why you re-calibrated the level setting, but it seems the rear sensor has failed. It is the one that tells the "brain" when the nose has gone below level. When it fails, that signal is never sent, and the front jacks retract until they can't. Operating in manual mode does not need the rear sensor and allows you to level manually. But I honestly can't explain how the display would show "degrees off level" without a functioning rear sensor.
I second the recommendation to call Lippert. Their techs are great to work with and will help you figure it out.

If still having issue and I am sure Lippert support would have already suggested this ..
.. reseat remote rear sensor plug harness located up inside front compartment on the fwd sensor.. if issues sill persists and note seeing “external sensor error”Mt hen located up under the coroplast about two feet behind rear axle (centered) is the remote rear sensor mount location. There is also a QD on the harness to the rear sensor
.. remove that QD, clean and reconnect and try auto level again.. making sure nose is above level

When my rear sensor failed the front jacks worker correctly. The rear jacks did not work correctly as in only going down partway or not going down at all. During the Auto Level it would try to function and at the end of the cycle it would always say Auto Level completed. I tried resetting the system multiple times even with Lippert Tech on the phone as I did the process. Ordered new rear sensor and installed it. Performed a reset again and have not had another problem.
The procedure to replace the rear sensor is not complicated but is a bit labor intensive depending where your sensor is located. A mechanic creeper and a concrete pad is very helpful if doing the job yourself
